First of all, I would like to thank STYXXX, for allowing me to have this page. STYXXX and I have a lot in common. We believe in Team Work, and in this business, it can be very cut throat. I worked with the Scotty Bros (Ben & Tony) and at that time the president of the record company was Tad Doud. I may have misspelled his name. It has been 30 yrs plus. I use to recruit Bands, at a time where they did not pay to do gigs, drug testing started, because musicians were getting out of control, and the Record company would only allow certain types of music at that time, which I was coming up with bands that were doing music a little differently, so our relationship ended well, but we couldn't work together any more. I'm happy to see that people are working together and helping one another out and building back or even better industry than before. At the moment I am re-posting events on FB, Twitter, and Tumblr, and putting a page together, where people that are looking for certain types of music, want to join in, ect Hopefully you musicians can post your stuff on that page as well. rockinglocalbands.com on GoDaddy.
